Job brief

We are looking for a Call Centre Representatives that will be the liaison between our company and its current and potential customers. The successful candidate will be able to accept ownership for effectively solving customer issues, complaints and inquiries; keeping customer satisfaction at the core of every decision and behaviour.

Responsibilities

Requirements
  • Previous experience in a customer support role
  • Strong phone and verbal communication skills along with active listening
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and practices
  • Customer focus and adaptability to different personality types
  • Ability to multi-task, set priorities and manage time effectively
  • High school Diploma passes in English and Mathematics Required

 Sales Representative (St. Thomas Based)

The Sales Representative is responsible for driving business development and sales by creating and effectively managing client relationships and partnering with relevant teams within the organization to create strategies that will increase sales.

Responsibilities
  • Generates sales through personal contact.
  • Acquires new business.
  • Creates and conducts promotional activities.
  • Organizes location visits and ensures the availability of products.
  • Maintains accurate reports with respect to sales.
  • Develops sales strategies.
  • Maintains a high-level of service to existing customers, managing the customer relationship from contract execution through delivery, to after sales service.
  • Monitors market and industry changes and analyzes customer performance in order to create contingency plans or capitalize on business opportunities.

Requirements
  • A Bachelor’s degree in the areas of Business and Management
  • Three (3) - five (5) years of sales experience
  • Valid Driver’s License with a good driving record.
  • Must be willing and able to work flexible hours if required.
  • Must own and operate a reliable vehicle.
  • Required to travel.





Quality Assurance Supervisor (Caribbean Foods Limited) - Kingston, Jamaica

Seeks to identify the ideal candidate to fill the post of: 

Quality Assurance Supervisor

Responsibilities:
  • Ensures department is staffed and functions efficiently
  • Ensures all raw material is received and meets standards
  • Ensures all packaging material being received meets required specifications
  • Monitors and ensures product fill weight is in accordance with guidelines
  • Monitors date codes for accuracy
  • Tests and keep records of retained samples
  • Execute product recall if needed
  • Ensures proper storage conditions of all raw/packaging material
  • Maintains strict quality control practices
  • Oversees product development and implementation of all food safety certifications

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of a Diploma in Natural Sciences or a related discipline
  • Minimum of two (2) years experience in a manufacturing company preferably in the food manufacturing industry
  • Knowledge of good manufacturing practices
  • Knowledge of HACCP
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc)
  • Must be able to work extended hours and on Saturdays

Administrative Assistant (Office of Utilities Regulation - OUR) - Kingston, Jamaica

 The Office of the Utilities Regulation (OUR) invites applications from suitably qualified individuals to fill the following position within the Consumer & Public Affairs Department (CPA):

Administrative Assistant


The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the Consumer and Public Affairs (CPA) Department and report directly to the Director, CPA.

Core Functions:
  • Prepares Minutes of meetings, notices, agenda, attendance records, and action items
  • Maintains records and information management system for the CPA Department. This includes efficiently and effectively maintaining CPA-related records
  • Prepares purchase/procurement-related documentation for processing by the Finance Department
  • Maintains databases, electronic systems, and intranet content
  • Plans and coordinates meetings
  • Compiles and maintains records, files and reports and the handling of all internal and external correspondence for the CPA Department
  • Arranges for the preparation and dispatch of correspondence
  • Assists with the preparation/compilation of reports, consultative documents, etc
  • Assists the OUR to maintain its Quality Management System certification through continual improvement of systems and processes

Required Qualifications, Experience and Critical Competencies:
  • First degree in Business Administration, Management Studies or related field or related discipline from a recognized tertiary institution
Or
  • Associate degree or diploma in Business Administration, Management Studies or related discipline from a recognised tertiary institution
  • At least three (3) years experience in a similar position or in customer service
  • Computer literate with proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite applications and open to learning and using new technologies
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to relate well at the team and organizational levels
  • Excellent event management and organizational skills
  • Excellent time management and multitasking skills
  • Must be detail oriented
