A small law firm in Kingston invites suitably qualified candidates to apply for the position of:
Administrative Assistant
Duties include:
- Office management (opening, closing, keeping stock of stationery, pantry, etc)
- Reception (greeting and directing clients, and answering telephone calls)
- Receiving and sending packages
- Secretarial duties (drafting correspondence, basic statements, invoices, and receipts, preparing packages, filling, setting meetings, managing schedules, etc)
Qualifications & Experience:
The preferred candidate should possess:
- Diploma or first degree in administration, secretarial studies, or related field
- Strong computer literacy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc)
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Willingness to learn and initiative
- Previous experience as an administrative assistant will be treated favourably
- Previous experience in a law firm environment will also be treated favourably
This is an in-office position.
