Administrative Assistant (Kingston, Jamaica) - Law Firm

 A small law firm in Kingston invites suitably qualified candidates to apply for the position of: 

Administrative Assistant 


Duties include:
  • Office management (opening, closing, keeping stock of stationery, pantry, etc)
  • Reception (greeting and directing clients, and answering telephone calls)
  • Receiving and sending packages
  • Secretarial duties (drafting correspondence, basic statements, invoices, and receipts, preparing packages, filling, setting meetings, managing schedules, etc)
Qualifications & Experience:
The preferred candidate should possess:
  • Diploma or first degree in administration, secretarial studies, or related field
  • Strong computer literacy
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc)
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Willingness to learn and initiative
  • Previous experience as an administrative assistant will be treated favourably
  • Previous experience in a law firm environment will also be treated favourably
This is an in-office position.
