Vice Principal (Montego Bay, Jamaica) - Corinaldi Avenue Primary School

Vice Principal at the Corinaldi Avenue Primary School.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced educator to join our team and help shape the future of our school. As Vice Principal, you will work closely with our Principal to provide leadership, support, and guidance to our staff and students.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in primary education, with a proven tract record of success in a leadership role. You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a passion for creating a positive and inspiring learning environment for young students.

Responsibilities will include:

• Collaborating with the principal to develop and implement school-wide policies and procedures.
• Providing instructional leadership to teachers and staff.
• Overseeing student discipline and behavior management.
• Assisting with the development and implementation of curricular and co-curricular programs.
• Serving as a liaison between the school parents, community members, and outside organizations.
• Teaching and coordinating a stream of classes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Education (Master's preferred).
• At least five (5) years of experience in a leadership role in a primary school setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of Jamaican educational policies and practices.
