Manager, Human Resource Management and DevelopmentQualified individuals are invited to submit their applications for the position of Human Resource Management and Development Manager at Jamaica Business Development Corporation.
- Provides strategic and operational direction to the Human Resource Management and Development department.
- Ensures, develops, and implements human resource polices, procedures and systems to manage all the human resource functions of manpower planning, recruitment and selection, performance evaluation, compensation and benefits, training and development succession planning, career development, employee engagement, labor management relations, dismissal, policy development and implementation.
- Designs interventions and processes to facilitate effective performance and achievement of department goals.
- Implements change management strategies to ensure optimal productivity while preserving innovation and creativity.
- Conducts department and organisational reviews to determine manpower requirements, training and development needs and to ensure the cost-effective utilization of the organization's human resources.
- Provides advice and guidance to Management and staff on human resource matters.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent.
- At least five years' experience in Human Resources at the management level in a medium-sized organisation (over 100 employees) with diverse occupational groupings.
- Proven experience in implementing change management and team building strategies.
