We are seeking highly motivated and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Internal Audit Operations Officers.
Job Summary
In the role of the Internal Audit Operations Officer, you will conduct exciting internal audits and ensure that all business processes are risk management compliant. He/she will oversee company workflows and prepare compliance reports.
Job Specifications
- Oversee operational procedures of the company.
- Participation in the development of strategic plans set forth by management
- Oversee and direct daily company administrative processes and procedures (Facility Maintenance, Garbage Disposal, etc.)
- Track and maintain budgets of operational costs
- Identify, Monitor, and Manage staff compliance to company operational procedures.
- Analyze and maintain operational data on an ongoing basis.
- Gathering information and data on Standard Performance Measures.
- Support the documentation of all new & revised policies and procedures that is approved by senior management.
- Prepare monthly and operational reports detailing the operation’s KPIs.
- Lead the Monitoring, Evaluation and Maintenance of company’s equipment (Forklifts, Jacks, Shelving, etc.)
- Assist in the mapping and optimization of key processes affecting productivity
- Ensure compliance to current safety standards and identify and make recommendations to mitigate safety gaps.
- Drive the optimization of facilities’ workspace; adhering to storage design principles; recommending improvements.
- Create incident reports immediately after an incident has taken place.
- Assist in performance appraisals and all necessary human resource support.
- Ensure that KPIs that the warehouse is responsible for are being attended.
- Assist with the responsibility of all security functions.
- Perform any other duties required.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Logistics & Supply Chain Management or Operations Management.
- Experience in Warehouse & Logistics Management, Accounting, Inventory Control (an asset)
- Experience in Occupational Health & Safety (an asset) Working Conditions
- Frequently working at high pace, and for long hours
- Frequent calls to address urgent matters
- Exposure to mental stress
- Exposure to warehousing working conditions.
- Required to travel to other branches on occasions.
- Required to work on weekends if deemed necessary.
