Accounting Clerk (Kingston, Jamaica)

Description: Provides assistance to the Accountant of a mid-sized legal firm.
Responsibilities include:
  • Maintaining filing system of accounting records
  • Maintaining general ledger accounts
  • Requisitioning, preparing and issuing cheques
  • Meeting strict reporting deadlines
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Have sound knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Be a team player
  • Learn quickly and be flexible
  • Be detail oriented and must work well under pressure

Qualificatons/Experience
  • Must have attained CAT level 3 or ACCA level 1 and have at least 2 years experience in a similar capacity.
