Duties include:
- Managing the blending and packaging process for juices and drinks
- Overseeing the cleaning and sanitation of process equipment
- Making and implementing weekly production schedules
- Ensuring quality in-process and the end product
- Ensuring the factory is operating in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices
- Administrative duties as it pertains to production staff
- Prepared to work on a shift basis
The successful candidate is required to have:
- At least an Associate degree in a science related discipline
- Two (2) to three (3) years experience of production or quality assurance in a food/beverage plant
- A working knowledge of GMP, Microbiology and/or HACCP an asset
- Knowledge of MS Office and QuickBooks accounting software
- Strong leadership, problem solving, self-motivation, organizational skills
