The United Church Mission Enterprise, the business division of the United Church in Jamaica and the Cayman Islands seeks to appoint a suitably qualified person for the Executive Assistant.
Core Functions
The Executive Assistant manages the Chief Executive Officer's Office to ensure that all agreed projects and activities are properly equips the Chief Executive Officer with reports, materials, speeches and visual presentations for meetings. The incumbent ensures efficient response to action items from Board Committees meetings and all correspondence and telephone calls.
A. Specific Knowledge:
- Knowledge of the business
- Excellent command of the English Language
- Proficient in use of computer applications (Project Management, Microsoft Office Suite, etc)
B. Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor;s degree in Management Studies or equivalent
- Four (4) years experience working at a supervisory level
C. Required Skills and Specialized Techniques:
- Strong planning, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills (oral and written)
- Analytical and conceptual skills
- Interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential information
- Time management skills
- Ability to prepare and present board papers for meetings
