Cashier

Responsible for the daily recording and monitoring of the flow of monetary transactions.

The highest ethical standards of honesty, truthfulness, and decency must be obtained at all times.

Job Specification:

  • Receive payments by cash, cheque, credit or debit cards.
  • Calculate, record and reconcile all transactions.
  • Deal with all customers in a prompt yet courteous manner.
  • Issue receipts, refunds to customers.
  • Resolve customer complaints by consulting relevant person/department.
  • In any instance of irregularity alert your Supervisor immediately.
  • Maintain a float.
  • Assist the Accounts Department with filing of invoices.
  • To carry out the directives of your Supervisor in a respectful and timely manner.
  • Available to work on Saturdays.

Service Agent

Seeking energetic, vibrant, competent and self-motivated candidates for the post of Service Agent.

Responsibilities

  • Create an exceptional experience for the customer by using professional customer service techniques.
  • Retain existing customers through the use of proactive customer service/consulting techniques and enabling customers to receive value in the service.
  • Resolve customers questions/concerns efficiently and effectively through the use of active listening and personalizing techniques and by focusing on adding value.
  • Follow up with customers to ensure their needs and expectations are satisfied and promises are kept.
  • To carry out the directives of your Supervisor in a respectful and timely manner.
The ideal candidate should possess the following:

  • A high school graduate with a minimum three (3) C.X.C. subjects.
  • HEART Trust NTA/NVQ Certification in Customer Service Level 1 or Business Administration Level 2 or equivalent.
  • Minimum of two (2) years' related experience.
  • Strong interpersonal techniques
  • Pleasant, respectful and customer focused.
  • A good command of the English Language.
  • Competence to retain and apply information and/or instruction.
  • Problem solving skills.
  • Empathetic to the Customer's needs.
  • Professional attitude, enthusiastic and reliable.
  • Sound knowledge of telephone etiquette.
  • Available to work on Saturdays.
