Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic

A leading Quarry located in Manchester is seeking the services of experienced Heavy Duty Mechanics.

Job Responsibilities:

Responsible for preventative maintenance, breakdown repairs and major rebuilds on a wide range of mobile equipment, crushing and screening plants, some of which may include:

CAT Loader (966); CAT Excavators (345); CAT Bulldozer (D10); Shantul Excavators; John Deere and Bobcat Loaders; Meka Jaw/Impact Crusher and Screening Plants.

Job Duties:

• Carry out repairs as directed and change out parts.
• Order parts using order numbers and listed suppliers.
• Maintenance of company vehicles and mechanical aids.
• Maintenance schedule and operating manuals/procedures


• Identify and record deficiencies.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Good problem solving skills.
• Ability to work safely in a regulated environment.

• Seeking opportunities to exercise previously gained skills as a dedicated mechanic.
• Have a recognized Trade Training Certificate.
• Have a current Manual Drivers License.
