Biomedical/Service Technician
Core Responsibilities
- Install new equipment by adjusting, testing, and calibrating performance.
- Provide instructions on use and care of medical equipment to relevant personnel.
- Perform scheduled maintenance inspections on equipment to ensure safe and effective operating conditions.
- Diagnose equipment malfunctions with accuracy and precision.
- Repair and replace complex medical equipment and systems.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and policies.
- Ensure documentation is completed in a timely and accurate manner.
- Answer queries regarding medical equipment use, care and maintenance.
Job Requirements:
- Three (3) years' experience in Biomedical Equipment/Service Technician and/or other related field.
- Diploma in Biomedical Engineering Technology or NVQ-J Electrical and Electronic Maintenance Level 3 - Diploma.
- Advance Computer skills.
- Good mechanical and technical skills.
- Good communication skills.
- Good analytical skills.
- Good time management and organizational skills.
