Worldnet Microfinance Limited invites applicants for the following position:
Human Resource Officer
Human Resource Duties:- General filing to ensure staff personnel files are kept up to date (electronic and hard copy)
- Assist with staff electronic database updates
- Performs periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately (both electronically and hard copy)
- Maintain staff leave records (such as vacation, sick, etc)
- Assist with Health Plan Claim submissions
- Meeting minutes and report writing, as and when required
- Assist staff with completion of benefit plan applications and ensuring the required documents are obtained
- Assist with meeting minutes/report writing, as and when required
- Assist with the coordination of reference checks
- Prepare job letters
- Assist with special events such as employee recognition events, retirement celebrations, etc
- Performs any other duties that may be assigned
Qualifications and Competency skills:
- Bachelor's in Human Resources Management or equivalent
- A minimum of one (1) year human resource administration experience
- Excellent verbal, written and listening communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism and diplomacy
- Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Must own and operate a reliable motor vehicle
- Team player
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Word and Excel
