The National Works Agency, an Executive Agency of the Government of Jamaica is seeking suitably qualified individuals for the position of Store Clerk (Level 3).
Qualifications and Skills required:
- At least four (4) subjects at Ordinary level/CSEC level including English Language and a business subject
- Training in stores/supplies management
- Knowledge and application of Microsoft Excel, Word and Access
- Knowledge of service parts
Core Functions:
- Maintain a current inventory of items in assigned Store
- Maintain custody of all items supplied to the stores
- Deliver accurate supplies to authorized personnel
- Accuracy of inventory
- Timely delivery of material
- Maintenance of adequate stock
Principal Responsibilities:
- Maintain an accurate inventory system for supplies in stores
- Order and receive materials for stores
- Issue material with properly authorized requests
- Receive and deliver materials
- Advise Stores Supervisor of Stock reduction and re-ordering point for material
