A leading hardware retailer seeks qualified persons to fill the capacity of the following position:
Administrative Assistant
Duties & Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
- Creating and maintaining staff, suppliers, etc files
- Act as relief receptionist
- Telephone switchboard operating
- Disbursement of cheques
- Procure stationery and maintain adequate stock levels
- Accounting functions including recording journal transactions, assist with payroll activities, assist with accounts payables functions
- Typing letters, memos and other office documents
- Perform other general administrative tasks
Qualifications:
- Minimum five (5) CXC passes including:
- Principles of Accounts
- Principles of Business
- Office Administration
- Information Technology
- Minimum of five (5) years relevant work experience in an office environment
- Mature, disciplined and confidential
- Must have prior time management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, E-Mail
