Applications are invited from qualified persons for the position of Information Technology Project Officer
In the Information Technology Department.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide project and operational support, including monitoring and support on project plans, milestones and deliverables to ensure time, cost and quality indicators are in line with project objectives.
- Update and collate documentation regarding project records, relevant issues, policies and practices to ensure the delivery of projects complies with project management methodology.
- Undertake basic research and analysis in assigned project areas and contribute to the preparation of project briefs to support informed decision making.
- Assist the project plans to ensure agreed outcomes are achieved.
Qualifications, Experience and Skills:
- A first degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or other equivalent qualification from a recognized tertiary institution.
- Project management training.
- At least one (1) year of experience working on projects.
- Experience in business modelling techniques and tools.
- Knowledge of principles and practices of project Management.
- Service-oriented, flexible.
