Applications are invited from qualified persons for the position of Information Technology Project Officer


In the Information Technology Department.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide project and operational support, including monitoring and support on project plans, milestones and deliverables to ensure time, cost and quality indicators are in line with project objectives.
  • Update and collate documentation regarding project records, relevant issues, policies and practices to ensure the delivery of projects complies with project management methodology.
  • Undertake basic research and analysis in assigned project areas and contribute to the preparation of project briefs to support informed decision making.
  • Assist the project plans to ensure agreed outcomes are achieved.

Qualifications, Experience and Skills:
  • A first degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or other equivalent qualification from a recognized tertiary institution.
  • Project management training.
  • At least one (1) year of experience working on projects.
  • Experience in business modelling techniques and tools.
  • Knowledge of principles and practices of project Management.
  • Service-oriented, flexible.
