Production Machine Operators (Kingston, Jamaica) - Cal's Manufacturing Limited

Duties and responsibilities:

• Load and distribute raw materials to/for production lines
• Assemble raw materials and equipment as required for production
• Use lifting equipment such as forklift or pallet-jacks to transport raw materials and finished products
• Perform pre-operation activities for proper startup and operation
• Operate pneumatic, pressurized and/or heated equipment and machinery
• Operate/monitor equipment during operation to ensure quality production and minimal unplanned stops
• Inspecting parts and making adjustments or tool changes as necessary

Qualifications and Other Requirements:

• High School Diploma/Certificate or two (2) CSEC subjects
• Training in technical drawing, mechanical or electrical systems is an asset
• Minimum one (1) years experience in a production manufacturing environment is preferred
• Very good written and verbal communication skills along with good interpersonal skills and be able to work on own initiative
