Warehouse Clerk (Kingston, Jamaica) - Cal's Manufacturing Limited

 

Summary of Duties:

Ensure that all products received and dispatched into/from the warehouse are verified and updated in the system along with the accurate reconciliation of crates and drums.

Main Responsibilities:

• Verify all goods entering and leaving the warehouse and update the electronic system
• Ensure the appropriate documentation and authorization forms are used for the receival, transfer and delivery of goods
• Conduct daily stock counts, ensuring proper stock rotation and update of the system
• Investigate and reconcile stock variances
• Assist with the sorting, organizing and storing of goods in the warehouse and other storage areas for easy retrieval and stock taking 
• Maintain records for drums and crates and investigate  and reconcile variances
• Other related duties assigned from time to time

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/School Leaving Certificate

Experience/Skills:

• A minimum of one (1) year's experience in warehousing or similar capacity
• Knowledge of IT applications, including Word PowerPoint and Excel

Summary of Duties:

Accountant (Kingston, Jamaica) - Cal's Manufacturing

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure that all journals are prepared monthly
• Prepare financial statements for the company
• Ensure the timely and accurate preparation of accounting and financial reports
• Ensure the accuracy of all bank transactions by preparing bank reconciliations
• Prepare and analyze investment schedule for company highlighting principal, interest and withholding tax and ensure journals are done to record the same
• Check, prepare and analyze suspense/clearing accounts and ensure the schedule is completed and submitted
• Prepare and maintain schedules for audit purposes
• Prepare monthly report for delivery at board meetings
