Applications are invited from suitable qualified applicants to fill the following positions within the St. Elizabeth Division of the Jamaica Constabulary Force.
Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) Operator SOG/ST 2
Job Purpose
To ensure safety and security of people and property through effective surveillance and monitoring of the Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) operations in order to facilitate the requisite response, emergency or otherwise, protection of life and property and preservation of peace and good order.
Qualification and Experience
- Four (4) CXC or GCE inclusive of English and a numeric subject.
- One (1) year experience in a call centre environment.
- Video surveillance certification (would be an asset)
Special Conditions Associated with the Job
- May be required to work beyond the normal working hours.
- Will be required to work on a shift system.
- At all times the post holder must maintain and respect the security and sensitivity of the service.
