Production Supervisor
Job Summary
The incumbent is responsible for planning, organizing and controlling production to ensure that goods are produced efficiently, timely, within budget and to standard.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:- Prepares production plans and schedules to fulfill the requirements of the company's sales estimates for projected period
- Collaborates with the purchasing and logistics team to ensure procurement of materials in appropriate quantities to meet production requirements and sales estimates
- Ensures that all manufacturing procedures are observed and that good housekeeping standards are maintained
- Supervises the work of production employees ensuring that discipline and good manufacturing practices are maintained at all times
Education and Experience:- A Bachelor's degree in Production Management or equivalent
- Five (5) years experience in the manufacturing industry
- Working knowledge of quality and safety systems and standards
