Senior Payroll Associate

Job Summary

The incumbent is responsible for the timely preparation of payrolls, statutory and non-statutory payments, reconciliation of health insurance contributions, maintenance of employees' records and the distribution of reports according to the company's standard while always maintaining speed and accuracy in the execution of duties.

Qualification and Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
  • Minimum of five (5) years' experience in payroll at the supervisory level.
  • Proficiency in software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of Bizpay payroll package would be an asset.
  • Extremely confidential and reliable.
Accounts Receivables Associate

Job Summary
The Accounts Receivables Associate is responsible for the preparation of daily cheque lodgements, lodgement reports, allocation of payments and the application of credit notes in accordance with payment details provided and assisting in the month end closing process.

Qualification and Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or equivalent
  • Minimum of three (3) years' experience in Accounting or in a similar capacity.
  • Proficiency in software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite.

Accounts Associate (Payables)
 
Job Summary

The Accounts Associate is responsible for the payment of invoices in an efficient and timely manner after approval has been granted, assists in maintaining the petty cash system, assists or relieves the cashier and prepares bank reconciliations and audit schedules.


Qualification and Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or equivalent
  • Minimum of three (3) years' experience in Accounting or in a similar capacity.
  • Proficiency in software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite.

Accounts Associate - General Accounting

Job Summary

The incumbent is responsible for the preparation of audit schedules, bank reconciliations and assisting with the preparation of monthly financial reports.

Qualification and Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or equivalent.
  • Minimum of three (3) years' experience in Accounting or in a similar capacity.

Risk/Change Management Specialist

Job Summary

The incumbent is responsible for communicating risk policies and processes of the organization by providing hands-on development of risk models involving operational risks, assuring controls are operation effectively, providing research and analytical support, ensuring that projects (change initiatives) meet objectives on time and are according to budgets.

Qualification and Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in any related field
  • Minimum three (3) years' experience in Process Excellence/Process Improvement/Continuous Improvement.
  • Proficiency in software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Agile, Lean or Six Sigma certification.
  • Project and Change Management certifications
  • Management consulting experience.
Territory Sales Supervisor (Western Region)

Job Summary

The incumbent is responsible for directing the sales team and providing leadership towards the achievement of maximum profitability and growth in line with company vision and targets, while establishing plans and strategies to expand the customer base in the area and contributes to the development of training sales team.

Qualification and Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Management Studies or any other related field.
  • Minimum three (3) years' experience in Sales.
  • Minimum Two (2) years' experience supervising within the field.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and a high degree of accountability.

Demand Planner

Job Summary

This position is responsible for forecasting and procurement of products on behalf of Massy Distribution (JA) Limited.

Qualification and Job Requirements

  • Bachelors of Science (BSc.) degree in Logistics/Operations Management or equivalent.
  • Level 4 CIPS certificationl
  • Extensive knowledge of the shipping industry and Jamaica Customs Agency requirements.
  • At least five (5) years' experience at a senior level in the area of Procurement and Logistics.

Job Summary

Production Supervisor

Job Summary

The incumbent is responsible for planning, organizing and controlling production to ensure that goods are produced efficiently, timely, within budget and to standard.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Prepares production plans and schedules to fulfill the requirements of the company's sales estimates for projected period
  • Collaborates with the purchasing and logistics team to ensure procurement of materials in appropriate quantities to meet production requirements and sales estimates
  • Ensures that all manufacturing procedures are observed and that good housekeeping standards are maintained

Warehouse Coordinator

Job Summary

The Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for facilitating and coordinating the efficiency of the Company's distribution operations through effective utilisation of systems, manpower and materials while maintaining the highest standard of accuracy, quality and organization.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Measure and report warehouse operations performance and productivity
  • Manage delivery contractors, service and compliance to local regulations
  • Management of Quality and Occupational Health and Safety Standards in the warehouse
  • Assist in establishing warehouse procedures to drive operational efficiency
  • Ensure compliance to local regulations (Food Storage and Prevention of Infestation, Public Health and Factory's Act) 
  • Implement and manage inventory management strategies to mitigate against discrepancies and maximise space utilisation in the warehouse
  • Manage the warehouse procurement process for the purchasing of indirect material
  • Manage inventory for warehouse indirect materials

Qualifications and Job Requirements:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or Business Administration with a major in Logistics Management
  • Minimum of three (3) years experience in warehouse/inventory management preferably in a manufacturing/distribution entity at the supervisory level
  • Working knowledge of the principles of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems
  • Excellent knowledge of good manufacturing and distribution practices

Internal Audit Assistant

Job Summary

 To execute or assist in the execution of audits, risk assessments or other special reviews of auditable entities within the Jamaica Group.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Preparation of process system documentation using narrative or flow charting techniques
  • Preparation of audit programs
  • Execution and preparation of working papers for audit tests executed
  • Execute follow up procedures to confirm the implementation of management responses to previous audit observations
  • Identification and documentation of internal control weaknesses, risk exposure or other unsatisfactory conditions
  • Communication with business unit/subsidiary/auditable entity line management to obtain information or clarify understanding of operations and audit test results

Qualifications and Job Requirements:
