We're searching for a male Youth Care Officer who is looking for an opportunity to work in a rewarding and challenging residential environment with troubled youth (boy's and girl's dorm) at Yova Inc in Robin's Bay, St. Mary.
Primary Duties
Youth Care Specialist (YCO):
- Embrace the spiritual ethos, philosophy and values of YOVA
- Communicate effectively to students and stake holders
- Facilitate positive change in the youth
- Ensure safety and supervision of the students
- Foster wholistic growth and development in students
Qualifications and Experience required:
- Experience working with troubled youth for at least two years
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work/Counselling preferred
Skills and other attributes required:
- Flexibility and ability to work under pressure
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Teachable
- Age range - 30 - 45 years
Salary negotiable.
