Youth Care Officer (St. Mary, Jamaica) - Youth of Vision Academy

We're searching for a male Youth Care Officer who is looking for an opportunity to work in a rewarding and challenging residential environment with troubled youth (boy's and girl's dorm) at Yova Inc in Robin's Bay, St. Mary.

Primary Duties

Youth Care Specialist (YCO):

• Embrace the spiritual ethos, philosophy and values of YOVA
• Communicate effectively to students and stake holders
• Facilitate positive change in the youth
• Ensure safety and supervision of the students
• Foster wholistic growth and development in students

Qualifications and Experience required:

• Experience working with troubled youth for at least two years
• Bachelor's degree in Social Work/Counselling preferred

Skills and other attributes required:

• Flexibility and ability to work under pressure
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Teachable
• Age range - 30 - 45 years

Salary negotiable.
