Accounting Manager
The Accounting Manager will direct and oversee the financial activities of the Group. The Successful candidate will manage the preparation of financial reports, budgets and financial planning. The new Accounting Manager will be required to do among other things the following:
Key Responsibilities/Functions
- Maintain and update accounting policies and procedures as the need arises.
- Oversees the operations of the Accounts Department including the design of an organizational structure adequate for achieving the department's goal and objectives.
- Involved in the strategic planning and development of new products.
- Analyze and interpret the financial information that will aid corporate executives in making sound decisions.
- Prepare financial reports for companies under the group along with the creditors, regulatory agencies and tax authorities.
- Prepare Financial forecasting/budget for planning purposes.
- Control and analyze the accounts of the company, ensuring where there are inaccuracies that the proper adjustments are made.
- Five (5) years' or more experience in the management of an accounting department.
- ACCA Level 2
- Extensive Knowledge of Accounting Systems and Controls.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Management from an accredited university
- Knowledge and experience with SAGE50, Peach Tree, QuickBooks or any other reputable ERP accounting software.
- Experience in a financial organization in Loan Accounting would be an asset.
- A critical thinker with exceptional analytical and organizational skills.
The Human Resource Manager, a mature individual, will lead and direct the functions of the Human Resources Department, including hiring and interviewing staff, administering pay, benefits, and leave, and enforcing company policies and practices. The new Human Resource Manager will be required to do among other things the following:
Key Responsibilities/Functions
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Manage the recruitment and selection process.
- Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the organization.
- Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
Requirements
- Recruits, interviews, hires and on boarding of new staff.
- Handles discipline and termination of employees per company policy.
- Manages the talent acquisition process, including recruitment, and interviewing.
- Exceptional communication skills, interpersonal, writing and ethical mindset.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resource or Business Administration.
- Minimum of five (5) years' of human resource management experience.

As Operations Manager you will be tasked with the responsibility of overseeing the general operations of the Group.
Key Responsibilities/Functions
- To provide leadership and guidance to employees across subsidiaries.
- Strategize methods to improve service delivery and extension, income for the group.
- Manage and increase the effectiveness of the necessary tools that are required to serve internal and external clients.
- Hold monthly meetings with Departmental Supervisors and quarterly ones with subordinates and report findings to the CEO.
- Oversee the Credit Committee, personal and business Loan unit and Customer Service unit by providing management, procedure and control.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration at an accredited university.
- Minimum of five (5) years' of Operations Management Experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Fixed Asset Management (Reconcile FA register wit G/L)
- Prepare Statutory and GCT filing.
- Prepare Accounting Reports within set timelines.
- Assist with the preparation of Audit Schedule and liaison with Auditors.
- Three (3) years' of experience in Accounting.
- Bachelor's in Business Administration in Accounting at an accredited University.
- Knowledge and experience of the various Accounting Software.
- Organize and execute extensive marketing activities to meet loan targets every month.
- Relay to customers effectively and effectively the company's loan products and services.
- Increase the company's loan portfolio.
- Provides marketing tracking and research information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends in the microfinance sector.
