Human Resource Officer
Job Purpose
Under the Supervision of the Chief Executive Officer, the Human Resource Officer is responsible for planning, organizing, and coordinating the human resource and administration functions. The incumbent manages the employees' information database and performs duties relating to employee services, recruitment, selection, orientation, staff welfare, compensation,assignment of duties,health and safety of employees.
Some Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Manages the overall functions for the Human Resources and provides general HR guidance to staff to ensure smooth operations of the organization.
- Develops operational plans and budget to manage the Human Resources in the organization.
- Prepares the Manpower plan for the establishment and organized work schedule for the staff.
- Communicate with employees in relation to their duties, work schedule, compensation and provide advice where necessary.
- Plans, organizes, and coordinates the recruitment, selection orientation of new employees in consultation with the management and within the stipulated timelines.
- Prepares and maintains personnel files and databases for the workforce, secures and stores documents, relating to each member of staff.
- BSc Degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent.
- Working knowledge of Industrial Relations.
- A high level of proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- At least three (3) years' experience as a HR Officer working in Human Resource Management.
