Manager (Manchester, Jamaica) - National People's Co-operative Bank

Manager

At the following branches of the National People's Co-operative Bank:

  • Maldon
  • Chapelton
Reporting to the Branch Operations Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for supervising the Branch Operations in Marketing, Cash Management, Loan Administration, routine Accounting and Administrative functions that meet the Operation's requirement.

Duties Include but are not exhaustive

  • Manage the daily operations of the Bank to include Customer Service, Finance, Administration, Loans and Investment growth, Staffing requirements.
  • Adhere to high ethical standards and ensure compliance with Company policies, procedures and Regulatory framework.
  • Coordinate and lead the marketing of the Bank's savings and credit programmes to the community including schools, churches, businesses and other organizations.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities that will diversify the business and expand the loans and savings portfolio.
  • Prepare loan applications for submission to the Head Office.

Skills Required:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred in Management, Finance, Business Administration or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with industry rules and regulations.
  • Strategic thinking with demonstrated analytical/planning and organizing skills.
  • Results driven and customer focused.
  • At least three (3) years' experience in a leadership role preferable in a financial institution.
  • Strong communication, time management, interpersonal and people management skills.
