INVENTORY OFFICER –Montego Bay
Under the supervision of the Warehouse Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that items are available when they are needed to satisfy the organization's business needs by working alongside the Warehouse & Inventory Teams in planning and monitoring the daily transfers, stock management and the accurate and timely updating of records to reflect efficient stock levels.
He/she will also be required to:
- Manage the inventory transfers and receival processes
- Implement systems & processes that will ensure inventory accuracy is maintained
- Investigate and report all variances and discrepancies within the warehouse.
- Assist in organizing annual and cycle counts as required
- Ensure all transfer products are received and the relevant departments are updated accordingly.
- Ensure company procedures are followed and inventory records properly maintained
Qualifications/Requirements
- AAT/CAT Level 11 or equivalent
- Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in stock controls and inventory practices and processes in a retail industry
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent personal organization and time management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for a customer oriented working environment
- Possess the ability to work productively, efficiently & effectively in a fast paced environment with little or no supervision
- Skills in MS Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word)
