The Administrative Assistant has varying roles which include but are not limited to daily management of the Fleet Manager’s desk. Assisting with the preparation of reports and carrying out specific projects and research.
What You'll Be Doing- Provide general and administrative support to the Fleet Manager-Transport Shared Service ensuring efficiency to the Transport Department.
- Maintain attendance log to include sick leave, vacation leave and contract renewals.
- Open commercial work orders and enter invoices on work done using petty cash in Fleetwave.
- Order and maintain office and tea supplies inventory.
- Maintain a log of purchase orders dispatched to drivers for collection of goods.
- Supervise and dispatch maintenance drivers.
- Execute the process and procedure of New Armoured Vehicle for Exportation and Importation.
- Prepare monthly reports for submission to the Group of Directors by the 5th of each month.
- Maintain petty cash.
- Order and maintain uniform inventory logs for the Transport Department.
- Dispatch department cheques.
- Perform other related duties consistent with the category, nature, function and objective of the job.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

- Use of Business Technology-Software, Networking, Telephone Communication, etc.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or Management Studies or NVQ-J Level 5 Certification in Business Administration.
- Minimum of two (2) years work in an office/business environment supervising staff
- CPS designation would be an asset.
