Mother’s Bakery is seeking a suitable full-time candidate to join its team in the position of Bakery Production Manager.
Main Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of production.
- Ensure product quality consistently meets predetermined standards and specifications.
- Manage work flow to prevent any unnecessary associated costs.
- Ensure 100% order accuracy; ensure delivery schedules meet set goals and demands.
- Make continuous effort to reduce overall operating costs without negatively affecting product quality.
- Enforce the use of all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety regulations.
- Manage staff complement of 30 individuals.
Key Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Sound knowledge of Bakery/Production Operations.
- Strong production, dispatching and scheduling capabilities.
- High level of initiative and problem solving skills.
- Ability to motivate team members and get results in a fast paced environment.
- Willingness to work on weekends, public holidays and late shifts.
- BSc. Degree in Food Service Management or equivalent studies.
- A Minimum of 3 years experience in a management role.
- Tertiary level Diploma or Certificate in Food Service Management or related field.
- A minimum of 5 years experience as a Manager and /or Supervisor.
