- Manages large amounts of inbound and outbound calls in a timely manner
- Interviews, obtains and verifies patient information via phone
- Transfers customers to the correct department to ensure continuation of service based on patient needs
- Provides patients with information in preparation for their surgery
- Provides recommendations for hotel and recovery home options
- Makes appropriate modifications to their purchased services when requested
- Processes customer payments
- Generates invoices and conducts financial transactions ensuring they are on track and on time
- Serves as ambassador to patients & resolves any issues as they arise
- Performs clerical and administrative functions such as customer service and record keeping
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Outstanding customer service skills
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work with a high sense of urgency
- Ability to efficiently multi-task and prioritize work
Education and Experience:
- Five (5) CXC to include English and a numerical subject
- Exception: 3 CXC minimum with previous BPO experience.
- Social Media Savvy
- Minimum 1 year of customer service experience
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology preferred
- Plastic surgery knowledge preferred
- HIPPA & OSHA Compliance Certification preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk, working on a computer and answering multiple phone calls per day
