Production Supervisor (Kingston, Jamaica) - Honey Bun Jamaica

JOB SUMMARY

Are you ready to lead a dynamic team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Production Supervisor to join our growing team. As a Production Supervisor, you will be at the forefront of our production floor, overseeing the manufacturing process in the factory and ensuring that our production targets are not only met but exceeded under the safest working conditions, at the standards required related to food safety, quality, and productivity.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensures optimal production targets are achieved and best practices are maintained
• Responsibilities also include tasks in the areas of Food Safety, Quality, and Employee Safety.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma in Production Operations Management or its equivalent.
• Minimum Certificate in Supervisory Management.
• Diploma in Baking Technology.
• Experience as a Baker, Pastry Chef, and/or relevant role would be an asset.
• In-depth knowledge of sanitation principles and baking techniques.
• Three (3) years’ experience in the food/manufacturing industry.
• Be computer literate in Microsoft – (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Possession of a valid Food Handlers’ permit.

• Strong communication (oral and written), and excellent interpersonal skills.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to maximize relationships, build trust, and communicate effectively.
• Ability to multi-task and deliver against competing priorities.
• A high level of self-awareness. Understand the impact of own behaviour on driving operational success through people.
