The incumbent is responsible for greeting customers and directing them to the appropriate staff. Assist with resolving customer complaints and performing the general administrative duties of the department.
The following opportunity exists within the Stewart’s Automotive Group, for a customer centric, engaging and results-oriented individual, to fill the position of: Receptionist/Greeter-Sales Department
This individual will report to the Sales Manager and his/her duties and responsibilities will include the following:
- Greeting visitors, clients at the front desk and show room and directing them to the appropriate staff.
- Receiving, logging and dispatching incoming and outgoing mail for the respective personnel.
- Keeping keys for company vehicles on the showroom.
- Completing purchase orders for sub-contractors
- Maintaining a dairy/appt. book for the Directors, as well as other staff members as necessary, reminding them/their assistants re: relevant appointments, etc.
- Assist all departments (Director, Sales, Workshop, Accounts, etc.) as necessary.
- Perform administrative duties to assist in the Sales Department where necessary.
- Create a database for customers and ensuring that a sales follow up call is made to all customers and logged on the “Customer Follow up Log Sheet.”
- Ensure that the Questionnaire Process for follow ups is strictly adhered to
- Logging all outgoing and incoming cheques.
- Keeping all House Sale files up-to-date (past & current)
- Preparing all the paperwork necessary for clearance and handover of vehicles
- Final check-off of vehicle(s) as needed
- Interim communication with customer with bank, insurance and general follow-ups
- Final handover of vehicle when Sales Manager is not available for hand-over
- Assisting with external promotions, etc. as necessary
Qualifications, experience and competencies required:
- A minimum of five CSEC subjects with Math and English included
- At least three years’ work experience in a similar capacity
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to engage customers
- Must have excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (i.e. Excel, Word)
- Must be able to successfully work in a high-pressure environment and be able to multi-task
- Must be the holder of a valid Driver’s License
