SHIFT SUPERVISOR
KEY COMPETENCES & REQUIREMENTS
- Tertiary level training in Engineering or Operations Management
- Two years’ experience in a supervisory capacity in an industrial environment
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
- Exposure to ISO 9000/FSSC 22000, GMP and HACCP
- Able to work on shifts and on weekends as needed
- Meticulous with excellent organizational and analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
- Strong initiative and team orientation
- Able to work well with individuals at all levels.

- Direct production and sanitation activities in all areas.
- Manage ongoing performance of the production and sanitation teams
- Conform to all company policies and regulatory guidelines (including Good Manufacturing Practices)
- Maintain accurate daily records of all sanitation activities
- Manage labour resources to ensure optimum crew size and adequate pool of casual workers
- Participate in quality projects aimed at continuous improvement
- Participate in training programs organized by the company as required.
- Manage the staging of lines on assigned shift and closure of all outstanding issues from previous shift.
