We are looking for an experienced logistics professional to oversee the importation and exportation of finished goods and raw materials. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring operational efficiency, maintaining optimal stock levels, and meeting budgeted sales goals. You will also play a critical role in ensuring compliance with AEO and GMP standards, while maintaining strict inventory and accounting controls.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Supervises the daily operations of the logistics function by ensuring:
- Accounting for all finished goods inventory and coordination of daily and monthly stock count exercises
- Import entries and export documentation are prepared accurately and timely by the Customs Brokers
- All charges related to shipment clearance is received from Customs Brokers, submitted to accounts and payment effected to support container clearance
- The loading of all Export containers are accurate and adhere to FIFO policy
- The confirmation and/or arranging with Police and Customs Inspection, packing and dispatching of export containers daily
- The timely application for all relevant import permits from various government agencies timely and without breach
- Liaise with respective GOJ entities (Food Storage, Ministry of Health, etc) to visit premises for weekly inspection of import products that were offloaded
2. Timely preparation and submission of daily/weekly/monthly Logistics Report (KPI) reports
3. Coordinate and organize timely importation and exportation of products

4. Assist with duties in accordance with JA Customs Agency AEO Security Program
5. Conduct, assist with and/or participate in staff related and leadership matters
6. Ensure pick list process is managed by Warehouse Supervisor/General Assistant in the finished goods warehouse to support the export process
Qualifications and Experience:
- Degree in Management Studies or equivalent qualifications
- Minimum of three (3) years experience in a similar environment
(a) Specific Knowledge (however acquired) required to start:
- Sound knowledge of warehouse inventory management systems
- Working knowledge of customs excise policies and procedures
- Sound knowledge of warehouse safety policies and procedures
- Sound knowledge of FIFO storage standards

- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent time management, planning and organizational skills
- Excellent team leadership and interpersonal skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
