Issuance Processor Needed (Kingston, Jamaica) - CUNA Caribbean Insurance

 

We are in search of an Issuance Processor for our Kingston office. As the Issuance Processor, you will be responsible for carrying out to end data entry processing of new business and endorsement applications for all company products in accordance with established protocols and standard operating procedures.

Experience, Qualifications and Skills Required:

  • Two (2) years' of experience in a similar environment.
  • Associate Degree in Business Administration or similar qualifications.
  • Five (5) CXC/GCE O'Level passes - Minimum of Grade 2 (CXC): English Language and Mathematics are compulsory.
  • LOMA, ACS certificate or pursuing same.
  • Proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Strong attention to detail; capable of consistently delivering work with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Excellent communications skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.

The incumbent will be required to provide administrative support to the Operations Department.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience required:
  • At least three (3) to five (5) years experience in administration or related field
  • At least five (5) CXC passes with a minimum grade II general proficiency in English Langue and Mathematics
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite applications
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Detail oriented and ability to operate in a self directed manner
  • Ability to improve or enhance existing work processes

Assistant Manager - Risk & Compliance (Kingston, Jamaica) - CUNA Caribbean Insurance

The incumbent would be responsible for analysing, monitoring and reporting on risks, and monitoring and reporting on regulatory developments that could significantly impact the Company.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience Required:


  1. Degree in Management, Business Administration, Finance or other professional qualifications such as ACCA or CMA
  2. Certificates of completion from a nationally recognized compliance school are preferred (ICAT, CAMS)
  3. Three (3) years experience in a similar role at a financial institution (e.g. Compliance, Risk, Internal Audit)
  4. Proficient analytical, statistical and mathematical knowledge and skill
