Clerical Assistant 2 (Kingston, Jamaica) - St. Andrew High School for Girls

 The St. Andrew High School for Girls invites qualified persons to join the team at SAHS in the following position Clerical Assistant 2 - Bursar's Department (clear vacancy).

Ideal candidate must have an Associate degree in Business Administration, ACCA level 1 or equivalent qualification with working knowledge of QuickBooks Accounting package and a minimum four (4) GCE/CXC general passes including English Language, Mathematics and Principles of Accounts.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Ability to follow oral instructions and work under pressure and with little repetition or supervision
• Consistently maintaining a high level of professionalism, integrity, diplomacy and initiative 
• Ability to compose correspondence and reports
• Excellent organizational, resource, problem-solving and analytical skills
• Detail oriented 
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Timeliness in response to correspondence, queries and email messages
• Excellent interpersonal skills and emotional maturity and ability to interface effectively with persons in the education sector at all levels
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and integrity in all matters
• Ability to determine between competing priorities, schedule and structure tasks in order to meet deadlines
• Knowledge of Policies, Rules and Regulations of the MoEY with a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications

Experience:

• Minimum of three (3) years related work experience in accounts
