Warehouse/Stores Clerk (Kingston, Jamaica) - Xsomo International

Summary of Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Operating forklift and transferring stock to assigned areas
  • Perform inventory controls and maintain quality standards
  • Process raw material order for production areas
  • Receives and processes warehouse stock products
  • Maintains a clean and safe working environment
  • Participates in stock taking exercises

Requirements:

Qualifications, Experience and Knowledge:
  • Four (4) CXCs at general Proficiency level or equivalent
  • A minimum of one (1) year experience in a similar role or environment
  • Must be computer literate
  • Meticulous attention to detail
Key Competencies:
  • Ability to operate a forklift for unloading containers
  • Ability to work within deadline and consistently meet targets
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to consistently maintain an excellent rapport with team members
  • Able to take initiative and demonstrate flexibility in meeting changing situations
Special conditions associated with the job:

Graphic Artist (Kingston, Jamaica) - Xsomo International

 

Xsomo International Limited, an organization committed to delivering relevant printing and technology solutions to our clients is looking for a GRAPHIC ARTIST.

Summary of Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Prepares artwork according to specifications on sales contract for approval by customer
  • Proofreads and edits artwork for assigned jobs
  • Preparation of proofs for delivery to the Sales department as required
  • Liaising with the Sales department for details of the requirements for artwork of jobs
  • Liaising with Production Control Clerks for verification of measurement of images
  • Scanning of images for completion of artwork
Requirements:

Qualifications, Experience and Knowledge:
  • Diploma in Computer Graphics from a recognized institution
  • A minimum of two (2) years experience in a similar role
  • Proficiency in the use of computer graphic applications including Adobe Illustrator and InDesign
  • Experience in commercial printing
  • Familiar with operating requirements of sheet fed presses
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing at various levels
  • Ability to establish realistic deadlines and meet them consistently
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in work produced

Key Competencies:
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and consistently meet targets
  • Able to take initiative and demonstrate flexibility in meeting changing situations
  • Ability to work on own initiative with minimal supervision
  • Ability to consistently maintain an excellent rapport with team members

Chief Financial Officer (Kingston, Jamaica) - Xsomo International Limited

 

Chief Financial Officer

Xsomo International Limited, an industry leader in the manufacturing sector, and an organization committed to delivering relevant printing and technology solutions to our clients, is seeking to identify a Chief Financial Officer. The CFO, reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, will have oversight and responsibility for planning, implementing, managing, and controlling all financial-related activities of the company. This will include direct responsibility for accounting, finance, forecasting, strategic planning, compliance, and institutional financing.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Work with the CEO on the strategic vision of the company, including fostering and cultivating stakeholder relationships.
  • Ensures management accounts are accurately prepared in a timely manner, using generally accepted accounting principles.
  • Oversee the operations of the Accounting department and staff growth and development.
  • Develops tools and systems to provide critical financial and operational information, to the CEO and the senior management team and assist in the making of recommendations on both strategy and operations.

Education and Experience:

  • Sound knowledge of Company Law, GCT and Income Tax Regulations and Accounting Standards.

Accountant (Kingston, Jamaica) - Xsomo International Limited

 Xsomo International Limited, an organization committed to delivering relevant printing and technology solutions to our clients is looking for an:

Accountant

Summary of Responsibilities and Duties

  • Manage all fixed asset accounting to ensure that all related entries and reports are complete and accurate, and supporting documentation is maintained appropriately.
  • Provide oversight to the Accounts Payable and Inventory functions.
  • Plan, organize and monitor stock count exercises and reconciliation processes.
  • Assist in the implementation of internal controls, policies and procedures.
  • Reconcile assigned general ledger accounts and prepare audit schedules/analysis on a monthly basis.
  • Ensure that all recurring journal entries are posted at the end of each month.
  • Review the audit schedules prepared by junior staff prior to submission to the Senior Accountant.
  • Reconciliation of assigned bank accounts.
  • Assist in the assessment of staff performance and advise on necessary training and equipment that enhance the department's performance.

Requirements; 

Qualification, Experience and Knowledge

  • ACCA certified level 2 or a BSc Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent qualifications.
  • Sound knowledge of Accounting and Financial Analysis principles.
  • Proficiency in the use of computer applications including Microsoft Excel and Word, SAGE or similar accounting software.
  • A minimum of three (3) years' experience in a similar position within a manufacturing environment.
Key Competencies
  • Solid analytical, decision making and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent report writing skills.
  • Good time management and negotiation skills.
  • Good human relations skills and the ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing at various levels.
  • Ability to establish realistic deadlines and meet them consistently.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in work produced.
