Clerical Assistant 2 (EIGS/AS 2) - Clear Vacancy

The Office of the Human Resources requires the services of a Clerical Assistant 2 who will provide support in facilitating the general day-to-day administrative, clerical and operational tasks related to the successful management of matters regarding employees and other stakeholders within the College Community. This position requires a trainable, highly motivated person who values confidentiality as an integral component of his/her undertaking.

Qualifications, Experience and Competencies:
  • Professional Studies/Certification in Business Administration or related areas from an accredited institution with a foundation of passes in at least five (5) CSEC subjects including Mathematics and English Language
  • Three (3) years of hands-on administrative support experience
  • Competence in organization and prioritization of tasks
  • High level of detail-orientation (frequency in the review of documents)
  • High level of accuracy in work (written samples)
  • Intermediary to expert proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Access and Publisher and ability to manouvre the Internet
  • Knowledge of operating standard office equipment
  • Commendable ability to problem solve 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Enjoys people and computer interface

Clerical Assistant 1 (EIGS/AS 1) - clear vacancy

The Clerical Assistant 1 will provide assistance regarding the coordination and support of the general day to day administrative, clerical and operational tasks related to the successful management of the office. This position requires a highly motivated, and confidential team player with the ability to deliver a high level of interactive customer service and prioritize efficiently.

Qualifications, Experience and Competencies:
Qualifications:
  • Associate degree in Business Administration or related field from an accredited institution with a foundation of passes in at least five (5) CSEC subjects including Mathematics/Accounts and English Language
  • Three (3) years of relevant working experience
