Receptionist/Data Entry Assistant (Mid-Clarendon District Office)
Under the general direction of the Regional Systems Manager, the Receptionist / Telephone Operator is responsible for customer-related, clerical and data entry services to the Commission's operations within the Regional /District Office.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Receive customers and provide guidance based on services requested
- Manage incoming and outgoing calls and provide information accordingly
- Maintain records as directed
- Attend meetings, take notes and produce Minutes as requested
- Enter weekly data for the Water Production Information System (WPIS) and the Customer Information System (CIS)
- Update the NIC Portal with data logged by Systems Operators and also information from the Ramp delivery log
Minimum Requirements:
- Certification in Secretarial Studies/data entry or office administration from an accredited institution
- Five (5) subjects at CSEC or GCE O' level which includes Mathematics and English Language
- A minimum of two (2) years working experience in data entry/receptionist or a similar job role
- Positive attitude and aptitude for learning
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other related applications
