A medium-sized, Kingston based distribution company is seeking to employ an exceptional, experienced, target-driven and motivated Sales Manager.
The incumbent will be contracted to manage a team of sales representatives, while enabling client acquisition, driving revenue growth targets, and ensuring that the company maintains a competitive edge within the industry.
Key Competencies and abilities
- Exceptional communication, persuasion and soliciting skills
- Strong business acumen skills with an in depth knowledge of the distribution and manufacturing or retail industry
- Extremely strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team, drive performance, conflict resolution skills and coaching abilities
- Data driven, analytical, technology savvy, with strong mathematical/economical and decision making skills
Qualifications:
- B. A., MBA or MSc in Business Administration, Management Studies, Economics, Banking and Finance, Project Management, or a related field
- At least three (3) years successful experience as a Sales Representative or Sales Manager with proven history of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Must have a clean police record (no convictions or run-ins with the law)
