The Meadowrest Memorial Gardens head office seeks to appoint a suitably qualified persons for the position of Accounting Officer.
Job Overview
Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Accounting Officer is responsible for the maintenance of the Accounts Payable subledger, Payroll register, Fixed Assets, and inventory.
Qualifications and Experience:
- ACCA level II or BSc in Accounting
- At least three (3) years working experience in an accounts department
- Experience in preparing audit schedules and journal entries
- Working knowledge of accounting software Sage 300 will be a distinct advantage
- Experience with preparation of annual budgets and monthly management reports
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and operate in a dynamic work environment
- Keen attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Good working knowledge of spreadsheet applications including MS Excel
