Project Officer
Core Functions
- To evaluate, report and recommend projects to be executed
- To develop project scope (designs) as a part of project execution process
- To provide oversight to consultants and contractors
- Develop relevant documentation such as TOR's and reports to aid project execution
- Site inspection and reports as a part of project oversight
- Monitor and evaluate project expenditures
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction, Quantity Surveying, Project Management or other equivalent professional qualification
- Specialized training in Project writing, appraisal, monitoring and evaluation and general project management
- Minimum of three (3) years experience in project/programme management
Knowledge/Skills/Competencies:
- Strong focus on quality and performance with within schedule and budget
- Excellent project writing, appraisal and monitoring and evaluation
- A working knowledge of project planning and analysis
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Computer literacy, including the use of project management software, database, spreadsheet and word processing applications
