Office Attendant


Job Summary


Reporting to the Human Resource Officer the Attendant is responsible for providing support services by cleaning dusting and maintaining the offices, office furniture, and its environs.
Key Responsibilities Areas

  • Cleans office (i.e. sweep, mop and clean/vacuum) floor;
  • Washes and sanitizes bathrooms;
  • Maintains kitchen and lunchroom;
  • Disposes waste from bins;
  • Serves refreshment;
  • Cleans and sanitizes furniture and fixtures;
  • Cleans windows;
  • Manages cleaning chemicals and supplies;
  • Notifies administration when materials are running low so that they can be ordered centrally.
Required Skills & Competence
  • Knowledge of the operations of Government / Knowledge of the Ministry’s policies and procedures;
  • Good communication skills;
  • Strong customer relations skills;
  • Ability to follow verbal direction;
  • Ability to work well with team;
  • Pays attention to detail when cleaning;
  • Excellent time management skills;
Minimum Required Qualification and Experience
  • Completed Secondary School Education
  • Two years working experience
