Food Operations Manager
(Restaurant & Bar)
Job Purpose:
To effectively manage the operations of the restaurant to include food preparation, inventory management, staffing and purchasing.
Minimum Required Qualifications and Experience
- BSc. Business Administration/Operations/Restaurant Management or related field.
- Three (3) years' experience in restaurant management.
- Exceptional organization, leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to forecast food and beverage needs.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Great delegation skills.
- Managing daily food and beverage operations.
- Following food and safety regulations.
- Assisting with marketing events.
- Creating and enforcing restaurant policies, targets, and KPIs.
- Hiring, training, and managing food and beverage staff.
Sous Chef
Job Purpose:
To effectively plan, direct and execute food preparation in the kitchen.
Minimum Requirement Qualifications and Experience
- A minimum of three (3) years' experience in a similar role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong knowledge of cooking methods, kitchen equipment, and best practices.
- Teamwork-oriented with outstanding leadership abilities.
- Accuracy and speed in handling emergency situations and providing solutions.
- Thorough and organized.
- Professional.
- Develop new menu options based on seasonal changes and customer demand.
- Produce high quality dishes that follow up the established menu and level up to restaurant standards,cc as well as to clients' requirements.
- Assist with the preparation and planning of meal designs.
- Ensure that kitchen activities operate in a timely manner.
- Provide support to junior employees with various tasks including line cooking, food preparations and safety regulations.
Accounting Clerk
Responsibilities Include:
- Maintaining the Filing System of accounting records.
- Maintaining General Ledger Accounts.
- Requisitioning, preparing and issuing cheques.
- Meeting Strict Reporting Deadlines.
- Have sound knowledge of Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks;
- Be a Team Player;
- Learn quickly and be Flexible; Be detailed oriented and must work well under pressure;
- Must have attained CAT level three (3) or ACCA level 1 and have at least two (2) years' experience in a similar capacity.
