Food Operations Manager
(Restaurant & Bar)

Job Purpose:

To effectively manage the operations of the restaurant to include food preparation, inventory management, staffing and purchasing.

Minimum Required Qualifications and Experience

  • BSc. Business Administration/Operations/Restaurant Management or related field.
  • Three (3) years' experience in restaurant management.
  • Exceptional organization, leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to forecast food and beverage needs.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Great delegation skills.
Responsibilities include:

  • Managing daily food and beverage operations.
  • Following food and safety regulations.
  • Assisting with marketing events.
  • Creating and enforcing restaurant policies, targets, and KPIs.
  • Hiring, training, and managing food and beverage staff.
Sous Chef

Job Purpose:

To effectively plan, direct and execute food preparation in the kitchen.

Minimum Requirement Qualifications and Experience

  • A minimum of three (3) years' experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong knowledge of cooking methods, kitchen equipment, and best practices.
  • Teamwork-oriented with outstanding leadership abilities.
  • Accuracy and speed in handling emergency situations and providing solutions.
  • Thorough and organized.
  • Professional.
Responsibilities include:

  • Develop new menu options based on seasonal changes and customer demand.
  • Produce high quality dishes that follow up the established menu and level up to restaurant standards,cc as well as to clients' requirements.
  • Assist with the preparation and planning of meal designs.
  • Ensure that kitchen activities operate in a timely manner.
  • Provide support to junior employees with various tasks including line cooking, food preparations and safety regulations.
Accounting Clerk

Responsibilities Include:

  • Maintaining the Filing System of accounting records.
  • Maintaining General Ledger Accounts.
  • Requisitioning, preparing and issuing cheques.
  • Meeting Strict Reporting Deadlines.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Have sound knowledge of Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks; 
  • Be a Team Player;
  • Learn quickly and be Flexible; Be detailed oriented and must work well under pressure;
  • Must have attained CAT level three (3) or ACCA level 1 and have at least two (2) years' experience in a similar capacity.
