Sales Executive (Kingston, Jamaica) - ibs Technology

Job Title: Sales Executive



Description
Responsible for carrying out sales processes, such as: prospecting, presenting and selling technological products and services; as well as following up on the services and needs of customers with efficiency and sense of urgency.

Requirements
  • Experience and technological training
  • Engineer or term student of Telematics Engineering, Systems Engineering.
  • Experience of 3 or more years in sales.
  • Basic knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, Marketing and sales.
  • Management of sales tools (CRM, reports, quotes, budgets and projections).
  • Skills: organization, effective presentations, verbal and written communication.
  • Optimism, empathy, perseverance, punctuality, honesty, listening skills
  • Vehicle in good condition.
  • Availability to travel within the country.

Personal attributes
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Self-motivated.
  • Experience in sales negotiation.
  • Ability to pursue sales targets on a monthly/quarterly basis.
  • Excellent organizational skills and time management skills are essential.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently but function well in a team environment.
  • Sales reporting skills.
Responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Proactively acquiring New Business Prospects.
  • Build strong relationships with partners to ensure their needs are met.
  • Pre-sales activities to proactively meet customer needs.
  • Proactively keeping up to date with the latest Software technologies from Vendors.
  • Assist in achieving Sales targets.
  • Assist in developing marketing & promotional initiatives to increase sales.
  • Monitor and report on market and competitor activities and provide relevant reports and
  • information.
