Qualifications and Experience:
- Diploma or certificate in Inventory Management or any related area
- Minimum of two (2) years experience in inventory/stock control, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Exemplary mathematical and analytical skills
- Must have a working knowledge of Quickbooks
Summary of Duties
The primary duties of the Inventory Clerk is to ensure the efficient and accurate management of all inventories to ensure that products are received, stored and delivered in an accurate/efficient manner while adhering to quality management standards and ensuring deliverables with a high level of professionalism.
Job Responsibilities:
- Receival of all inventory/stock items
- Accurate recording and posting/updating of all inventory/stock items issued
- Accurate recording and posting/updating of all inventory/stock items received
- Managing the inventory control systems and scheduled stock counts
- Maintaining and updating inventory records and reports
- Reporting, investigating and reconciling inventory discrepancies / variances
- Preparing reports of depleted products based on reorder levels
- Maintaining inventory records for easy retrieval
- Report any stock issues to management and place product order as necessary
- Timely update of the daily Production/Warehouse Reports
