Social Media Coordinator (Kingston, Jamaica) - Lee's Fifth Avenue Limited

Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Social Media Coordinator to help us enhance our online presence and engage with our fashion-savvy audience. As a Social Media Coordinator, you will be responsible for developing and executing social media strategies that align with our brand's vision, values, and goals. You will play a key role in building and maintaining our online community, increasing brand awareness, and driving customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and implement social media content calendars across various platforms.
  • Develop visually appealing and compelling content, including images, videos, and captions, to showcase our products and brand.
  • Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions on social media to foster community engagement and address customer inquiries.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends and tools, and recommend innovative strategies to boost our online presence.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create and execute social media advertising campaigns.
  • Track and analyze social media metrics to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
  • Maintain an organized content repository and schedule for social media posts.
  • Collaborate with influencers and partners for collaborative campaigns and promotions.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in social media management, preferably within the fashion or retail industry.
  • Strong knowledge of popular social media platforms and trends.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in content creation tools and social media management platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills to track and interpret social media metrics.
  • Creative and innovative mindset with an eye for aesthetics.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and meet deadlines.

Position Overview:

As a Fashion Store Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of our store, ensuring that it runs smoothly and efficiently. Your primary focus will be on delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining a high standard of visual merchandising, and driving sales growth. You will lead by example, motivating and coaching your team to provide a memorable shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service Excellence: Put our customers first by creating a welcoming and inclusive shopping environment. Ensure that every customer receives personalized attention and assistance.
  • Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and supervise a team of dedicated sales associates. Provide ongoing coaching and development to foster a customer-centric culture.
  • Visual Merchandising: Maintain visual standards and ensure that the store's layout and displays are enticing and up-to-date. Collaborate with the visual merchandising team to create eye-catching displays.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee inventory control, including stock replenishment, markdowns, and regular stock takes. Ensure accurate record-keeping and minimize stock shrinkage.
  • Sales and Performance: Set and achieve sales targets while monitoring key performance metrics. Implement sales strategies and promotions to drive revenue growth.
  • Communication: Foster open and effective communication with both your team and upper management. Provide regular reports on store performance and customer feedback.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of five (5) years of retail management experience, preferably in the fashion industry.
  • Strong passion for fashion and a keen sense of style.
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Proven leadership skills with a track record of developing and motivating teams.
  • Proficiency in inventory management and point-of-sale systems.
  • Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed.
