System Administrator (Clear Vacancy - MIS/IT5)

Reporting to the Principal, the incumbent supervises a team of technicians, and manages the College's entire network system and technology-related operations throughout all three campuses. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Networking or related field required.

Internal Auditor (Renewable Contract)

Reporting to the Principal, the Internal Auditor adds value by acting as a facilitator in business risk management and control, by carrying out an independent appraisal of the effectiveness of the policies, procedures and standards, by which the College's financial, physical and information resources are managed in accordance with the audit character and Government regulations. Bachelor's degree in Auditing/Accounting or a related field, plus professional experience required.

Plant Manager (Clear Vacancy)

Reporting to the VP Administration, the Plant Manager is accountable for the continuous, efficient operations of the College's physical plant. People and asset management, risk mitigation, planning and communications are required critical skills, along with certification in at least one of the following technical areas: engineering and/or construction technology, plumbing, or electrical systems. A bachelor's degree is preferred. -Previous applicants need not apply.

Admin/Customer Service Opportunities

We seek applications from individuals with strong communications and customer service skills to support our teams at the Moneague and Linstead campuses on a FT, PT and Contractual basis. Four (4) CSEC subjects including English Language and Math required.

Marketing Officer (St. Ann, Jamaica) - Moneague College


The Moneague College is one of the premiere tertiary institutions in Jamaica. Our three (3) campuses are ideally located to meet the needs of students who reside outside of the Corporate area. We are a multi-disciplinary institution known best for its roots as a Teachers' College. But we need help getting the word out that we have SO MUCH MORE TO OFFER.

We seek a talented and highly motivated MARKETING OFFICER to lead our new Marketing/Communications Office with effect 1 February 2022.

Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Articulate a clear vision for the department. Create and implement an annual department plan aligned to the College's Strategic Plan. Develop, manage and report on unit's budget
  • Develop effective strategies to promote the full programme offerings of the College
  • Develop, implement, monitor and evaluate recruitment and communication campaigns designed to increase the student population appropriately
  • Develop, implement, monitor and evaluate marketing campaigns designed to maximize the utilization of the College's facilities
  • Design and promote innovations and strategies to effectively improve communication within the institution
  • Represent the College externally, meet with clients; liaise with other institutions, and attend media

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, PR, English or Communications
  • At least three (3) years relevant work experience, along with people management experience
  • Proven digital marketing skills
  •  Experience connecting with Gen Z (Zoomers) and Millenials is a plus

College Librarian (St. Ann, Jamaica) - Moneague College

The College Librarian will be responsible for the administration and operation of the College Library and networks, and for the selection, storage, retrieval, interpretation and dissemination of the library materials, (print and electronic), in support of the College’s academic programs, and in response to research and study needs of the College community, students and staff.

Report directly to the Principal, the incumbent will have responsibility to:
• Develop policies, services and resources to meet the immediate and long-range goals of the College in general and Library in particular.
• Select materials in all forms (books, periodicals, electronic and microphones) for the Library in consultation with Lecturers as appropriate.
• Purchase materials for the development of the Library stock of information
• Interpret the Library collection to its users through orientation seasons, displays, exhibits, booklist, circulation and reference services.
• Catalogue and classify the materials and ensuring that the integrity of these systems are maintained.
• Develop and maintain the records and indexes needed for the maximum utilization of the Library collection.
• Establish and implement the departmental policies, goals, objectives, procedure and conferring with the Principal staff and students as necessary in the establishing of such policies.
• Prepare annual budget for supplies and equipment for the Library and furnishing the Principal/Financial Director, at the dates prescribe, and in the manner prescribed with necessary budgetary information.
• Maintain an up-to-date inventory of equipment and supplies in the department.

Experience:
• Minimum of five years in a school /college library
• Minimum of three years in a supervisory or management position

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
• Graduate /post graduate degree in library science
• Management diploma or degree
• Teacher’s college diploma /certificate would be advantageous
