Accounting Officer (Kingston, Jamaica) - Jamaica Packaging Industries Limited

 Jamaica Packaging Industries Limited is seeking to employ a suitably qualified individual to fill the position of Accounting Officer. 

The Accounting Officer will have the responsibility for the processing of monthly and fortnightly payrolls; processing of payments; assisting in the preparation of monthly financial statements and reports; assisting in budget and audit preparation activities, including inventory counts.

Requirements:

• ACCA level 1 or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with Accounting Major, or a Diploma in Accounting
• Knowledge of MS Office Suite applications and accounting software
• Knowledge of accounting, auditing and bookkeeping principles
• Minimum of three (3) years experience at a similar level
• Strong oral and written communication skills
