A dental practice in Kingston, Jamaica seeks to recruit a Schedule Coordinator to ensure efficient management of client schedules and the coordination of patient interactions with the dental staff and facility.

Responsibilities:
- Make patient calls regarding scheduling, confirmation of appointments
- Greet and assist them upon arrival and communicate regularly to keep them informed
- Answer telephone calls; discuss treatment plans and handle patient queries
- Monitor and communicate with both clinicians and patients all relevant information and changes to schedule
- Retrieve patient charts and file completed charts and paperwork
- Manage the patient check-out process including the collection of fees and processing health insurance payments
- Liaise with Business Manager regarding status of payment plan arrangements
- Liaise with dental laboratories and specialists as necessary
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Social Studies, Communication or other relevant degrees
- CPR certification is an asset
- Two (2) years previous experience in a similar role/industry
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
- Good time management skills and problem solving skills
- Good interpersonal skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent customer relations and interpersonal skills
