Management/Administrative Responsibilities:
- As part of the school management team, assists in the development and updating of objectives and strategies of the school's strategic/operational plan
- Participates in the periodic evaluation of the performance of financial and administrative activities in achieving the objectives of the institution
- Advises the Principal, the school board, MoEYI and MoFPS on the financial performance of the school
- Provides administrative support to the school board and committees
- Develops individual work plan for review by Principal
Qualifications:
- B.Sc. degree in Management Studies or Accounting or Business Administration or any equivalent relevant qualification from a recognized tertiary institution plus at least three (3) years related experience in Accounting
- ACCA level 2 or any equivalent accounting/management professional qualification plus at least three (3) years post qualification experience in accounting
- Must be proficient in producing financial reports in digital and computer-generated reports
- Completion of a certificate/Diploma/Associate degree in Government Accounting, other relevant financial management courses from MIND and at least eight (8) years experience
- Six (6) plus training in Procurement Guidelines and Government Accounting would be advantageous
